It's his game. It's what he does. He's just trying to get in your head.
[He's really good at it though. :( ]

The young man who died temporarily for her today and God did she miss him.
When he got to the bathroom, her shirt was already off, falling to the floor. One arm was crossed over her chest, even if he had already seen those. She still had her sense of modesty.
It was the fact that she needed him that over-rode any negative feelings Jerry might have left with that kiss. And she didn't care how she got Ed. She just needed him close for hours until she was sure he was alright and really was alive and that she was alright, too. She looks from the shower to Ed, smiling just slightly and just a bit nervously.]
You're coming in with me, right?
Re: spam: post dalek badness
You're kidding, right?
Just as long as it doesnt end like last time.

Her arms slid around his shoulders again, her fingers threading through his hair. The kisses on her neck felt better than before, or maybe she was just more aware of them after losing them for a while. There's a sigh from her, one that sounds a lot like 'my ed' and she steps back slightly, guiding his face to hers for a kiss almost exactly like the one she gave him before the Daleks and Jerry.]
Re: spam: post dalek badness
The scent he's so determined to replace peaks, sharp, wild, thoroughly male, alpha, only bolstering the imprinted memory clinging to her; demanding, possessive, taking what he wants and leaving Ed (McGee, he reminds himself) to flounder in the wake of it, and he pulls away with a confused snarl, unsettled, uncertain, and he hadn't known he could do THAT, isn't prepared to handle the experience.]
...shit.

And she was genuinely concerned that Ed was going to walk away from this, just because of that kiss. Thank you, Jerry. That's just what she needed.]
Do you want me to go?
[Charlie that is a dumb question and you should feel dumb for asking it.]
Re: spam: post dalek badness
You're not going anywhere. Just... [how to word it; it's not exactly something that sounds NORMAL, or even sane.] Got really weird for a second there. Don't worry about it, its okay.
[they just won't be doing that for a few days, at least, not until he's sure there's no more Jerry on her.]

And he didn't seem to want her to go, anyway. At his words, she felt herself relaxing against him some, head tilting to the side at the feel of his lips on her neck. Her arms are around his waist again, kisses and soft nibbles pressed into his shoulder.]
I won't go anywhere. I'm fine with that. More than fine.
[She steps back slightly, a bit closer to the shower and she takes Ed with her.] You're not going anywhere, either and I still really want that shower.
Re: spam: post dalek badness
Just as long as its not as catastrophic as last time.
Re: spam: post dalek badness
[It was perfect, too. Just them. No curses. Nothing to worry about. Lips pressed against his shoulder and neck more certainly, reassuring herself and hopefully him that they were each others and no Jerry was going to get in the way of that.
Clothes were off, the shower was on and she was fine to lose herself in every touch and kiss and sound the two of them made, feeling more and more at ease and like herself with every second, holding onto each other in a way that made it obvious that they weren't going to let go of each other any time soon.
Charlie and Ed tumbled into bed a while later, no clue how long they'd been in the shower. Nor did Charlie care. She was just happy to have him at her side, despite the lack of clothes. It was just the blanket and pillows and them and Charlie, lying on her stomach with her arms under her chest, was smiling.]
Do I smell better now?
Re: spam: post dalek badness
Mm. Much. [a pause] I should've warned you he might try something.
[he couldn't have known, not really, it wasn't as if he'd had Brewster's experiences with the guy to draw on, but even so.]

[It's really all she expects of people, most of the time. And it was the first thought in her mind when she heard about Jerry. She just hadn't expected it so soon. Maybe she should have. She shifted closer, long enough to kiss his forehead before settling herself on his chest.]
I think I'm calling out of work tomorrow. I need a day off from the shop and the school. And more time with you, clearly.
Re: spam: post dalek badness
[mostly, anyway. And it's not like he won't follow or try to whenever she leaves anyway. Not for the immediate future]

Re: spam: post dalek badness
Oh, I'm not complaining. I'm cool with that. I'm just saying.
Re: spam: post dalek badness
Okay, good. So it's settled. Minus some errands I have to run, which I will run while the sun is up and be back well before it's down [Said hastily before he can protest.] I'm pretty much yours for the entire day.
Re: spam: post dalek badness
What errands?
spam: post dalek badness
I'll be fine. I'll take someone with me, if you want me to. Bucky or Steve or even see if Buffy is available.
Re: spam: post dalek badness
It'll be daylight, you shouldn't need Buffy.

Re: spam: post dalek badness
[he would quite frankly say anything right now; he's trying to stay sharp, on point, and failing miserably. His arm eases its death grip and he starts tracing patterns instead. Consider him relaxed.]
Stay out of the tunnels; he doesn't need to sleep as much.

Re: spam: post dalek badness
Before I left to find you. I'll get something in a minute, it's fine.
...unless you want to donate to the cause?
[a smirk, and he's hopeful but he doubts she's going to say yes. MAYBE ONE DAY.]
spam: post dalek badness
Go eat. I will still be here when you get back.
Re: spam: post dalek badness
Bitch.
[not that hes even remotely serious; it's got an affectionate tone to it. He nips gently, more tease than anything serious, then slips out of bed, scrounging around for at least a pair of boxers before padding off to raid the fridge.
He comes back a few minutes later, steaming mug in hand, and settles back next to her before working his way through the contents; he gulped the first one down quickly, but he figures the rest of it he can savour a little. Sorry, McGee, he's REALLY loathe to leave you unattended for long right now.]
